SERVICES CANCELLED!

David Stertz
November 7, 2020

Dear Members and Friends,

We want to inform you that we are cancelling all services tomorrow (November 8) through Wednesday (November 11).

In the last 12 hours we have had several members or attenders of our church tell us that they have had significant exposure to Covid and are being tested. In addition, several others have either covid symptoms or covid symptoms with prior exposure and are being tested. Several of them may have been at services while potentially contagious.

We care deeply about the safety of our church members and attenders. Therefore, we are making this decision out of great caution and care.

We want to be clear that we have had no positive cases confirmed. However, there are several that are likely. If there were positive cases, we will disclose that to those who attend our services as per our Covid Preparedness Plan. Our Covid Preparedness Plan, as adopted by our deacons, dictates that if there were confirmed positive case(s) at one of our church services, the members and attenders of our church will be informed via the prayer chain and/or phone calls.

Pastor Stertz is not going to produce a sermon this week online. He is starting a new series in Matthew and would rather do that in person! He will be releasing a guide for home worship later this evening on our church website and church Facebook page. If it will help you or your family on the Lord’s day, please avail yourself of it.

In all things we trust in the sovereign purposes of God! We will accept this as His will. Enjoy the Lord’s day tomorrow! Spend time in prayer and reflection on the goodness and kindness of God! Pray for those who may be ill.

We will update you when we have more information.

God be with you!
